Seoul’s creative district of Seongsu transformed into a slice of the Mediterranean on September 6–7, 2025. This year Milan Loves Seoul returned with resounding success at TAES and Neuromeka. Held alongside Seoul Fashion Week, the event once again proved its power as a cultural bridge between Italy and Korea. Milan Loves Seoul is where fashion, lifestyle, and business meet under one dynamic platform.

An Italian Summer Dream in the Heart of Seoul

The theme “Italian Summer” immersed guests in the essence of Mediterranean living. The atmosphere featured citrus scents and colorful set designs, along with the ritual of the Italian aperitivo, capturing the relaxed elegance of Italy’s coastal charm.

Visitors described the atmosphere as both immersive and inspiring. Furthermore, it offered a unique cultural experience that combined fashion with travel-focused storytelling.

Milan Loves Seoul Brought Magic to TAES and Neuromeka

The event took place at two venues: TAES Showroom and Nuromeka industrial space.

In the TAES Showroom, Milan Loves Seoul hosted brand exhibitions and an exclusive industry after-party. On display were 12 Italian brands—from Marea and Bombo Studio to Francesca Cottone and Maison Nencioni—all celebrated for their innovative designs and ability to connect with Asian audiences. Two of these labels were also selected for Seoul Fashion Week at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), marking a significant step in their global expansion.

Meanwhile, the closing runway show took place at the Neuromeka industrial space. Here, the concept of “Italian Summer” came to life for a captivated audience. Neuromeka sparkled with the charisma of top Korean models Ki Hyunwoo, Joel, and Yu Jin, alongside K-pop stars Henny and Gunwoo of Roots Entertainment among other names. Their presence electrified the atmosphere, creating memorable moments that resonated with both fashion insiders and fans.

Cultural and Business Milestones

The 2025 Seoul edition was held under the patronage of the Italian Embassy in Seoul, with support from Ambassador Emilia Gatto and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA). For participants and attendees, the event was not merely a fashion showcase; it was a chance to forge business connections, explore creative partnerships, and strengthen Italy-Korea cultural ties.

Special highlights included Bellissima Imetec as hairstyle sponsor, collaborating with Korean beauty teams backstage, and Prosecco DOC, which brought its signature sparkle to the after-party, attended by celebrities and industry leaders.

Building a Lasting Bridge

This successful edition follows the Milan showcase earlier this year, which drew thousands to Palazzo Bovara during Milan Fashion Week. Together, the two events reinforce Milan Loves Seoul’s mission: to connect creative industries across borders while celebrating cultural exchange.

Founded by Ylenia Basagni and Marcella Di Simone, alongside their partners, Milan Loves Seoul has grown into an influential platform that not only elevates emerging designers but also inspires cross-industry collaboration—from fashion and beauty to lifestyle and culture.

A New Chapter for Cultural Exchange

As the curtains close on Milan Loves Seoul 2025 in Seoul, the event leaves behind more than memories of elegant runways. It solidifies Seoul’s reputation as a global stage for creativity and reaffirms Italy’s and Korea’s shared vision for innovation in fashion and beyond.

With each edition, Milan Loves Seoul continues to embody the spirit of travel, culture, and connection—values that resonate deeply with audiences on both sides of the world.

About Milan Loves Seoul
